The Importance of Working Out the Answers

Alan says he's not finished thinking. I'm not finished thinking about what I'm hearing from him. Alan: Our role as leaders is to be constantly asking the question, is this the right thing to do? And it is a really tough question because sometimes it does feel like you're doing the right thing. But you can't always be confident because you don't always have the big picture. We've reached that point now in our profession where we can say no to certain things and still get work done. People are standing up and giving him a standing ovation simply because they understand exactly what he means.
