The Principle of Micro Reversibility

In principle, physics is reversible, which means you can run it backward. Stephen was saying that when a black hole forms and evaporates, the stuff that comes out cannot be reassembled into what went in. And so this idea of micro reversibility that you can, in principle, know the past from the future could not be wrong.
