Dark Matter Is Not Dark Matter

Dark matter is a bit of a confusing name, because dark matter's not actually dark. We can't see it in the way that we can see the other kinds of matter. And so either our standing of how space curves is wrong, or there are some new kind of energy in matter that does curve space. There are alternative ideas to explain dark matter, but none of them really explain everything that we see. So you're not a hundred % certain that we're right about what dark matter is. But it's probably the best candidate for being 'the most common' type of particle on Earth.
