Is There a Valhalla Kind of Vision of the Nazis?
The Nazis have their own version of the Great Awakening or the storm, which they call things like the Day of the Rope or the Boogaloo. They fantasize that afterwards we'll have a wonderful, pure society where everybody's separate in their ethnostates and therefore everybody's happy. I think one of the things about far right politics is that it will take bits and bobs of things that are traditionally or traditionally thought of as left wing Politics. The Nazis were very powerful on the imaginary level because nobody really put them to work.
