i've always seen it when it comes to bikhoin as sort of strength and a weakness. On the one hand, if you're trying to design a censorship resistant currency, decentralization makes a lot of sense. I would say it's maybe less of a binery, you know, dicentralized versus wholly centralized. The idea is for anybody on earth to be able to ron a node - even with weak internet connection.
