Animal Cruelty in the Fire Nation Circus

In this chapter, Opa wakes up in a cage and finds himself sold to the Fire Nation circus. The animal tamer uses food as a lesson to Opa and forces a line vulture to perform tricks. While the animal trainer is distracted, Opa manages to eat cabbages from a nearby cart and burps in the trainer's face. They talk about the depiction of animal cruelty in the Fire Nation circus and how it serves as a commentary on real-life treatment of animals.
