On this episode of our Spanish Civil War interview series, I was joined by Jess McKeiver, a piece of a PhD researcher to discuss the portrayal of women fighters during the Spanish Civil War. The presence of women within militia units early in the conflict gave this ideological disagreement a greater urgency and focus. Jack Murphy is a former Ranger and Green Beret who has worked as a national security journalist for the last 10 years. He also hosts his own podcast called The Teamhouse where he interviews ex-spies and special operations personnel from all over the world.
