Gay Couples in Books and Movies
There's a fine line between teasing the idea that a couple might be gay and intentionally writing them that way. I'm not saying every author has to write in an LGBTQ couple in their book. That's a creative choice. I would just rather see an author research the community and or use their personal experience than choose to have a character be LGBTQ plus as opposed to write in a few sentences to just check off the box. Hopefully that makes sense, and I'm not says I know where the fine line even is.
