Dismantling Black and White Thinking

In psychology, we're stuck in patterns of black and white thinking or dichotomous thinking. This is what's known as a fixed mindset. What we are aiming to achieve through this work is to develop a growth mindset. And when we're developing a growth mindset, the idea is that we can learn to view an effort, a new situation as a growth opportunity - not an opportunity for failure or embarrassment.
