Air is about the team at Nike that developed the Air Jordan line of shoes. It's set in 1984 when Michael Jordan is a rookie being recruited by the Bulls and all the different shoe companies are going after him. Ben Affleck as Phil Knight, the founder of Nike and Matt Damon as sort of the middle age, pudgy basketball expert who's trying to help them find new players to bring into the Nike stable.
