Ozu's Cinema

There's a kind of Ozu influence there, isn't there? I'm also drawn to wide shots and frames within frames because for me, they're very attuning. Koganada is a reference to one of Ozu's screenwriters. Yeah, yeah, that's right. He will always be such a deep influence because of the way his films have stayed with me. So so much of what I'm working on, you know, I would never compare myself, you know,. Obviously, I don't think I ever would but I do think that there's something in his cinema and other people as well.
