The Strange Position of the Brother World in the ML Space
I think that the AI impact survey was like roughly half like 40 percent of people who responded for at least 10% chance. That's just quite bad in a way that causes lasting harm. My number is actually that much higher than lots of people who don't really focus that much on this. And it's not clear how much of this is, um, people kind of say they believe them, but not really,. Like if they actually were forced to reflect on it, they would have a different view or what's going on. I guess often it's actually kind of hard to tell what the difference is between actually believing something and saying you do.
