The Antithesis of Running Away From the Experience

On his death bed, he requested that his wife give him 100 micrograms of acid and he checked out. Had a beautiful experience. To me, that seems like the opposite of taking a bunch of opiates and just kind of checking out because the whole thing emotionally and physically is just too demanding and terrifying and painful. People tend to die in the manner of their living. We count on the notion that there's certain peak experiences in life. They're going to deliver you from you long enough to give you an unabated choice.
