How to Estimate Forest Carbon From Satellite Data

No matter how beautiful the technology you put in spaces, you're never going to be directly measuring forest carbon. So we are working with this international set of researchers who have sites all over the world where they've actually measured the trees. We can estimate the forest carbon, or biamas, from those data sets. And then superimportantly, also have the airborn lidar data coverage over those same sites that was collected around the same time. But it's its really kind of early days and just ramping up.
