A few months later, Little Bobby Hutton was shot by the Oakland police and killed. The community was in an absolute uproar. Angela Davis found Bobby very refreshing. He seemed genuine and she enjoyed their conversation. And unfortunately, she wouldn't have the opportunity for many more conversations. A dark day moved in for those who stood in solidarity for human rights on April 4, 1968.
