How to Get Feedback From Your Subordinates
In 1972, Alan Church interviewed a number of leaders and their subordinates. He discovered that leaders who are more self aware, so their own feedback lines up very closely to their subordinates feedback are much more effective than those who are disaligned. So how do they do that? They do that by asking for feedback all the time. And we get away from these great big platitudes that are just not actionable and they're not real.
