He Talks Like a Sausage Without the Fat

"He talks like a sausage without the fat" is an expression that dates back to 1907. "It's absurd to think that a sausage could talk and maybe also that a sausage is stuffed full of all kinds of things," says WAPERD host Bill Ward. In German, talking nonsense means you're talking a lot of cheese or quesare; in Dutch it roughly translates as he talks like a saucy worst.
