The Importance of Menstrual Cycle Based Nutrition

The body's hormonal milieu will heavily influence how the body processes, utilizes and stores different energy substrates such as carbohydrates and fats. Those things can affect performance, fat loss, muscle building, and even just your quality of like how you feel on a regular basis. So because of this, we have to understand how hormonal fluctuations impact performance and the utilization of different macronutrients. The baseline consideration here is are you consistent enough with an isocaloric approach and your regular training first? Then if you're a little bit more intermediate to advanced, could we consider some form of auto regulation or use of perhaps reps and reserve or RPE to potentially make, you know, adjustments in training
