The Tension Between Science and Skepticism

There seems to be some kind of balance that you need to find because resources are scarce. It's understandable that some people would say, put that theory aside, don't argue it. But in the end, scientists are open to evidence. They're open to new evidence. And the evidence eventually brought entire communities of scientists around to theories that were once dismissed.
