The Influence of Western Clothing on Children's Styles in the 1950s

The burn your own brand campaign for kids was one of the strangest fashion promotions I've ever heard of and it was directed towards children. There were many many tie-ins between different manufacturers including wrangler bluebell that I looked at but so many others series roboc and Montgomery ward and big catalogs as well to do cross promotion or garments that feature you know lone ranger and hop along cassidy and Roy Rogers. The economy at the time that post-war economic boom we hear so much about more broadly whether that's clothing toys accessories like just cute things for kids was seen as a bigger possibility for parents to spend a little bit of money on.
