The Anxiety of Influence by Harold Bloom

Harold Bloom was a man who would talk about his old age for decades. He lived to the ripe old age of 89 fulfilling a prophecy that was told to him by a fortune teller. Harold Bloom couldn't abide but critical responses to the works he held so dear and again this is another area in which I feel in St. Louis we can all do better.
