Music Is Noise, Not Music
When he was in college, John Sutter worked as a DJ at KTVS. He says the station would only allow him to play music that wasn't on mainstream radio. It introduced him to an extreme genre of music called "noise" The news diet is meant to show people who have listened to noise their whole life and said, Maybe music's not for me," writes Sutter.
