The Death of Empathy

The big tech layoffs can sometimes feel removed from reality because so many right now are struggling to make ends meet. The younger generation is exceptionally lonely and sad. Most interaction takes place behind a screen which removes that sense of humanity. Just like music and noise exists on a spectrum, so does empathy. Empathy access to suspend our egos and live in another's world. Compassion is a compliment as we ask how we can help within that world.
