The Limits of What Is Explanable in Language
When we are objects, we aren't speaking. And when we are told to speak for a group, we're not speaking. This is all so interestingly in contrast with something yo, say, a connected to religion. How anyone can remain spiritual if they constantly have to rationalize, explain and defend, defend their spirituality? It seems to be a making a case for a being able to also stay silent at times - especially the topic of religion. If we are constantly busy and making people understand who we are, this is then who we are. People wo explain to others who they are, instead of simply being. There's so much complexity, there is so much ambiguity each and every human
