The Relationship Between Motion and Time
Time is the number of motion according to prior end posterior time therefore is not motion unless so far as motion has number. The whole of time considered as subsisting at once is the same for the now is in reality one and the same but its essence is different. Time measures time so far as it is prior end posterior the now also subsists as partly the same and partly not the same. So far as the now is that which it once was so far it is the same with respect to time.
