Is Hegel's Racism a Fundamentally Anti-Racial Philosophy?
I think it's important to say, look, there are these clearly racist elements that get articulated in the philosophy of history. But then I do think it's fair to say that Hegel's philosophy is a fundamentally anti-racist philosophy. And so my verdict would be, almost the opposite of Tereira. It's not that it's stained at the beginning, it's that his racism is in fact undermined from the beginning by his own thought. That very way of framing it, is anti-Haggelian way, but also, I think, very racist way of framingIt.
