How AIs Will Develop Sentience

How will AIs have feelings we don't know yet? We're imbuing them with as much loving kindness, compassion, care and benevolence. Will love be even the same concept in AIs and also will they have fear of not existing? I just can't see it really. They're going to be so exponential and so fast in their multi instantaneous processing capability off out to explore the universe or whatever they choose to.
