Gogal's Self Awareness

CNN's John Sutter looks at a self-aware computer system. He says it has been designed to imitate human conversation. It is able to produce responses based on this enormous amount of learning, that are identical to that of a very intelligent and sophisticated human being. The machine fired the person who published its transcript - which makes things even more interesting.
