The Strucer's Curse
Half the population, after age about 65, gets happier and happier. The other half f the population gets unhappier. People who are on the lower branch of the happiness curve are the ones who did the most earlier. And so they're disappointed that it's finished. That's the striver's curse. If you never do anything with your life, you never, you won't know if it's over. But if you do a lot, what goes must come down.
