The Little Riddle Contest - Bilbo's First Heroic Fight

Bilbo loses all the dwarves completely. So not just yelling because they're lost, but that maybe something bad is happening. But it's totally dark, completely black in the forest. And so Bilbo realizes there's nothing he can do until daytime because at night he can see nothing at all. The killing of the giant spider, all alone by himself in the dark, without the help of the wizard or the dwarves or of anyone else made a great difference to Mr. Bagons. He felt like a different person, much fiercer and bolder in spite of an empty stomach.
