Is There a Difference Between Lightning and SMTP?
On lightning, there is at least a payment involved. On noster you never know if a person is a human or a bot. If you want to see a message from your friend, you have to share at least one relay in common today. That can change if we really start talking to each other by their own ways. You can start to create that centralizing effect that will be similar to email later on.
