i tend to be one of those people that ends up reading, usually a chapter at a dayat a time. One of the things our friend mart who's often at this table with us, is that everything in the old testament points to jesus. And so max and the group work through that. Fascinating connections matthew made in telling the story of jesus to what was written in the old Testament. Where exactly did this quote come from? It sounds biblical enough, but then again, god helps those who help themselves. And cleanliness is next to godliness sound like they come from the book of proverbs, but those sayings are not in the bible.
