Francisco de miranda was the forerunner of simon volivar's struggles for national independence in spanish speaking latin. But he was ultimately betrayed by bolivar and died in jail in spain. He had love affairs with, you know, many of the prominent women of the time. And that is one of the places where margaret was educated.
