The Downsides of Populism
Populism is a political approach that strives to appeal to ordinary people who feel their concerns are disregarded by established elite groups. In the area of regulation and regulatory reform populist politicians Donald Trump is one example but I think it's true at the state level as well tend to be pretty open-minded on regulatory reform. Ohio just passed a law this year that requires a 30% across the board reduction in regulatory requirements across agencies in the state. The average person opening up American economic review looks like Scientology to them with that all said experts makes mistakes they're humans too.
