The Book of Esther by Mordecai

The purpose of Esther is to remind those Jews who remained in pleasure of God's providential care. It also records for us the origins of the Feast of Purim, which was initiated by Mordecai at the suggestion of Esther. In summary, Mordecai wrote this book to the Jews remaining in pleasure to remind them that they were still providentially delivered from extension and God providentially protects his children.
