In the late 18 hundreds, farmers could sell their food that they raised themselves in season at the gansefort farmers street market. Many of these new imigrants brought with them the tradition of push cart sales. Back in their former countries, most of these people could not afford to rent their own store fronts. And thus they could make a living operating a push cart.
