The Importance of Travel History in Diagnosis of Infectious Encephalitis
The most common process that we're going to be seeing or discussing at least in this talk will be viral processes. The characteristic viral pattern for an LP would be maybe a moderate pleocytosis. Most infectious agents will generally have a specific tropism or, you know, specific region of the CNS that they're more likely to affect. And these can kind of be discussed in each subcategory that we'll head into outside of imaging.
