There's a qualitative distinction between certain and uncertain arguments where if an argument is not certain you're allowed to ignore it. That includes for infinitesimal probabilities like this, he says. If you're gonna say you can't prove me wrong why not ignore a proof too? It's interesting because when people are motivated they will forget the very laws of thought and logic in fact.
