The Americanization of the World

The book I'm talking about by W. T. Stead came out in 1901 it's called the Americanization of the world. And the 10 year period was roughly the 1890s. This is when the British were doing really a full court press to try to mend the fence with the Americans. There's been a lot of bad blood, including obviously the Revolution to war of 1812 but in addition, some serious border disputes with Canada and even worse British meddling in the American Civil War.
