What Is the Composition of the Fed's Balance Sheet?

The Federal Reserve's balance sheet, which has been steadily declining since the onset of quantitative tightening last year, has recently ticked up. This is leading some to say, oh, quantitative easing is back, quantitative tightening is over. So what do we see? On the asset side, you see not a whole lot of movement, but where there's movement, it steps down, and that's quantitative tightening. But on the liability side, you got some movement between bank deposits, overnight repo from money market funds, and the treasuries bank account at the Fed.
