How to Preach a Sermon

The bulk of your sermon writing occurs Saturday afternoon and evening. 5 to 10 people turn up in my study and I read my sermon out loud. And then I go around and make each person give me comments. Typically, make changes on Sunday morning. That's when I'll end up leaving out half a page and adding a bunch of stuff here.
