We are likely to see that being reported more often among people who are vaccinated than among the general public, let's say. We don't have a good base line comparison because we're goingto ave so many people who are vaccinated on high alert for this. People who haven't been vaccinated, particularly with astrozenagor j and j, not as much on alert, maybe less likely to catch it. And so therefore, again, the relative occurrence of events like this could be a bit scewed by those factors. But i still feel very comfortable, you know, giving the risks of covid itself. In countries will make that decision.

Reports of rare and unusual blood clots have resulted in several vaccine roll outs being paused while scientists scramble to work out if the vaccines are responsible and if so how.

The unusual combination of symptoms, including a low platelet count and clots focussed in the abdomen or brain, seems similar to a rare side effect from treatment with the drug blood thinning drug Heparin - however it is not clear how the vaccines could cause the syndrome.
