There is something special happening in the first stage of a tour, obviously. I wondered as well when they got into that final couple of kilometres. Like there's slightly, ever so slightly elder brother, have priority here? Or are they like most brothers where they just want to beat the shit out of each other? For twins that are both so good on the bike, they are quietly competitive. But you could see straight away, they were chopping off. There was no hesitation. The 80 come out and said he asked on the radio, can he ride? And he got told yes. Then it was just a case of right last climb. Let's just whack in, see who wins
