How to Bring Your Attention Down Through Your Body
So much about this practice is just allowing what's already there to be there. There's nothing we're going to fix into these practice. This is just an exploration. So let's take your attention down through the body, down through your left leg, and into your left foot. What do you notice when you bring your attention to the left foot? Maybe the foot feels cool or warm. There might be a tingling sensation in the foot. Then direct the attention up into your left ankle. Up the left leg into your left knee. See if you can just focus on the sensations in your right knee. Now locate the tailbone, the base of your spine.
