Python and the Future of Geospatial Processing

I know that there is some Python packages that I've come across that are specifically targeted at hyperspectral in addition to the usual tools for working with Raster data like GDAL and Rasterio. So a lot of the tools that are targeted at multispectral you can probably use as well because at the end of the day, you're still dealing with an image. You just got a lot more bands in this case. There's lots of special purpose software that's targeted at hypersspectral. And it's unlocks a lot of flexibility and possibility for you if you go in that direction.
