Model Y's on the Road This Year It Might Happen This Year
The model y would have to sell 400,000 more units this year compared to last year in order to at that point squeak past the corolla. If we presume that the Fremont factory and gigashang high are pretty well running at full speed it would mean that we need 200,000 more model y each from gigatexis and giga berlin. That is an extra 4,000 model y per week out of each factory which quite honestly seems doable so while i wouldn't go so far as to say that it's a lock that the model y is going to take the top spot this year it's got a shot and i think next year 2024 it
