Planets Can Move Around a Star

During the northern winter, slightly just a few weeks after the December solstice, that is when we are closest to the sun. You can calculate a planet's speed going around its star using Kepler's Third Law. People have done simulations of the early solar system and they think especially the gas planets have moved around a lot.
