We were given the tone on tone directive very early on. It was something i think that ian had in his head since they concepted the episode. For me, when we designed the totem as we did concept art for that, and then we had it threey printed,. Then we had it painted. The one that i gravitated to most in my research was this prehistoric totem of the fertility god. And it was dark and it felt sinister. That seemed like the perfect place to have thatcn as and ryan agreed. So it did pop rite.
