Is There a Moral Distortion?
We each have our own hierarchy of preferences or values in mind. We're peeling off the top of that hierarchy, and the action we're taking is expressing our highest value at any moment. So it's, there's an economic distortion, clearly, with a prize signal. But you could argue, as well as you have, that there's a moral distortion riter thers t there's a divergence between what market actors are voting to get satisfied,. versus what the actual price expresses.
