The World's First Octopus Farm

The farm is being proposed by a corporation based out of Spain called Noeva Pescanova. This will be the world's very first octopus farm with an aimed turn over 1 million octopuses into food every year. An octopus is a solitary animal that lives near complete darkness. To breed them, the company will keep an octopus in a glass tank with many otheroctopuses under constant surveillance and specialized lighting. TheOctopuses are killed in containers of water at a temperature of negative 3 degrees Celsius or 26.6 degrees Fahrenheit, which is too cold for the octopuses to survive,. They die, at which time the octopus will be harvested for their meat
